The 27-year-old singer unveiled the brand new music video for her catchy single, which has been storming the charts for weeks, and unsurprisingly it features the jungle, tigers, elephants and sexy attire.
As Katy swings from trees and fights off predators, she can be seen wearing a very low-cut leopard-print top, a skirt made of leaves and a floral headpiece as she belts out her new tune.

The eventful video sees the singer come face-to-face with a tiger [VEVO]

The action-packed video begins as a cartoon and quickly transforms into real-life and shows Katy and a male companion wondering around the jungle aimlessly after their plane has crashed and left them stranded.
Katy appears lost and scared, but she quickly gets her confidence back and is seen confronting a tiger, after being showered by an elephant.
According to the Official Charts Company, 'Roar' is set to become one of the fastest selling singles of 2013 and will give Katy her fourth Number One UK single this weekend.

Katy’s decision to bring the release date of her latest single forward by a week certainly seems to be paying off.
The latest Official Charts Company sales data shows that nearly 103,000 copies of' Roar' have been purchased in the UK up to midnight on Tuesday night.
'Roar' is the first single to be taken from Katy’s upcoming album 'Prism' which is released in the UK on October 21.
Her last album, 2010’s Teenage Dream, set a new Official Chart record for the most amount of Top 10 singles from one studio album by a female solo artist.
